What is The Front Porch?

The Front Porch is a friendly place for LETU’s non-traditional students to find assistance with all aspects of their LeTourneau experience from spiritual growth opportunities to tutoring assistance.

The Front Porch team can help you resolve an issue or just provide the encouragement to get you over the hurdles that stand between you and your degree.

Founded on the welcoming tradition first established in the 1940s by Evelyn LeTourneau, wife of university founder R.G. LeTourneau, we extend to each of you a heartfelt welcome. The concept of the Front Porch developed from Evelyn LeTourneau's common practice of inviting LETU students into the LeTourneau home for cookies and tea or lemonade to refresh and encourage them when life got hard. We want our students to have that same sense of family while they are at LeTourneau University!
